May in the the #BWCA. Less than a week after ice out it was pretty darn cold. But there were electric sunsets, no biting bugs, and fantastic group of old and new friends to keep the vibe tropical. Might be the first group to portage whole coconuts in
Days 8-9: Pistol Hill to Molino Basin. 39 miles. Halfway up Mica Mountain I was eating lunch overlooking Tucson. I figured I’d check my messages while I had the chance. As my phone grabbed a signal a flood of beeps and buzzes called out. Uh-oh
